When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. After approval, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact Forms

When you submit a contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not stored beyond what is necessary to handle your request.

Order & Payment Data

When you place an order through our website or Etsy shop, we collect your name, shipping address, email address, and payment information. Selecting “Remember Me” extends login persistence to two weeks. An additional cookie is saved when you edit or publish an article, containing only the post ID, expiring after one day.

Articles on this site may include embedded content such as videos or images. Embedded content from other websites behaves as if you visited those sites directly, and they may collect data, use cookies, or track your interaction with that content.
